Feather Kisses

First time author, Kay Moretz shows amazing talent in her first book, 'Feather Kisses'. I thought the main character, Shawnee was very independent, and strong....she was very intelligent, but not too bright, when it came to love....she was too trusting. The imposter was ruthless, but romantic.... The bodyguards, Phoenix, and Hunger were witty, and made you smile. Great ending, which showed how, Eric, Shawnee's true love really loved her. I liked how the book had so many twists and turns and kept you interested....until I read the end I had no clue. I'm looking forward to her next novel. Feather Kisses by Kay Moretz
Feather Kisses is a story involving the realm of emotions, that are involved in family, and personal relationships. It reveals what truly constitutes a family. It's includes the feelings we have, when we first encounter, that special someone we may think will be our soul mate. It questions our ability to love, trust, and believe in whomever that may be. Then in the end, what it takes to overcome adversity, along with accepting, and being able to forgive. Sometimes we need a little bit of fantasy to get us through, and allow us to catch our breath from our busy world. This story is a good read, while soaking up the sun at the shore in a beach chair or snuggled up in front of a warm fireplace on a cold winter's day. In reading Feather Kisses, the female character, Shawnee could be any woman's best friend, daughter, business partner or every man's desire. Any man or woman could also associate with her vulnerability in love, and learn from her strength, and stamina.

'Feather Kisses'
Kay Moretz is a skilled storyteller who spins a unique and exciting tale. Her charaters quickly come alive. She makes her heroine, Shawnee, a real person for the reader and makes us root for the good guys, her body guards and our heros, Phoenix and Hunger and boo the imposter Eric, who is pretending to be her husband. From her mysterious beginning to the satisfying end the story leaves us with a happy everafter feeling of love and caring. We look forward to reading her next book. Pearl and Doug Elmore

Feather Kisses

I really liked the main character Shawnee and her independence she displayed from her parents. The twists and turns in life were interesting, but was glad to see that she ended up with Eric. It was amazing how you brought in Shawnee's past life, this was a twist you weren't looking for. I liked the dedication of the bodyguards and how they really looked out for Shawnee despite the obstacles. It was a great book and got your attention right from the start, and was hard to put down. I was truly amazed at your talent, the characters you choose and the story line. Great Job. Look forward to reading the next one. Pat Travis

I really enjoyed this book. Nice twist, good plot. The only downside, the printing errors. I hope to read another book by this author in the near future. Any new books on the horizon?
